# Americas Gold and Silver Delivers a 98% Increase in Quarterly Silver Production as part of Strong Q3 2025 Operating Results Source: https://americas-gold.com/site/assets/files/6038/nr20251020.pdf Published: 2025-10-20T00:00:00+00:00 Fetched: 2026-05-11T08:01:12.691+00:00 Source artifact: aa25aa1e-db21-45bf-bb62-2a0964864223 Normalizer input: text ## Content AMERICAS GOLD AND SILVER DELIVERS A 98% INCREASE IN QUARTERLY SILVER PRODUCTION AS PART OF STRONG Q3 2025 OPERATING RESULTS TORONTO, ONTARIO – October 20, 2025 – Americas Gold and Silver Corpora on (TSX: USA) (NYSE American: USAS) (“Americas” or the “Company”), a growing North American precious metals and an mony producer, is pleased to announce strong consolidated silver produc on of 765,000 ounces for the third quarter of 2025, an increase of 98% compared to 386,000 a ributable ounces1 produced in the third quarter of 2024 and an 11% increase compared to 689,000 ounces in the second quarter of 2025. Lead produc on was 2.3 million pounds for the third quarter of 2025, an increase of 23% compared to 1.9 million pounds in the second quarter of 2025. The strong produc on results were achieved despite a planned 10-day shut down to complete Phase 1 upgrades to the Galena No. 3 Sha . The increase in silver produc on was driven by improved efficiencies at the Galena Complex in Idaho, as well as the con nued transi on into the higher grade EC120 zone at the Cosalá Opera ons in Mexico. At Galena, efficiency improvements in 2025 include improved underground development rates, the re-introduc on of long hole stoping, ongoing replacement and upgrades of the underground mining fleet, and improved skipping capacity on the No. 3 Sha . As previously announced, year-to-date an mony and copper produc on from the Galena Complex totaled 447,466 pounds and 615,817 pounds, respec vely (see Americas news release dated October 16, 2025). A strong Sb:Cu correla on, with a year-to-date ra o averaging 0.73, underscores the predictability and strategic value of Galena’s high-grade silver-copper-an mony tetrahedrite ore. Americas’ unaudited consolidated cash balance as at September 30, 2025, was US$39 million, a decrease of US$23 million compared to June 30, 2025. The expected decreased cash balance was largely the result of increased capital investments to support planned growth ini a ves, in line with the Company’s planned capital deployment. Paul Andre Huet, Chairman and CEO, commented: “I am extremely pleased with our progress during the third quarter in which produc on notched an 11% improvement on the prior quarter. Our opera on in Idaho is now star ng to deliver results a er spending significant effort underground at Galena conduc ng numerous me studies, engineering work, produc vity-focused projects, implemen ng new equipment and adjus ng the mining method. It is important to note that Galena achieved a quarter-over-quarter produc on improvement despite a 10-day shutdown conducted to complete Phase 1 of the upgrades to the No. 3 Sha , a tremendous achievement. Addi onally, last week's disclosure of year-to-date an mony and copper produc on further highlights the cri cal metal value of our tetrahedrite ore, as well as Galena’s unique strategic posi on as the only current producer of an mony in the United States. At Cosalá, outstanding progress by our opera ng team delivered improvements compared to the prior quarter as the opera on con nued its transi on into mining the higher grade EC120 area. The strong third quarter produc on results and our robust balance sheet, with US$50 million remaining undrawn on our exis ng credit facility, have us well posi oned to con nue to execute on our opera onal strategy to increase produc on, lower costs and unlock the massive poten al of our asset base for our shareholders.” 1 About Americas Gold and Silver CorporaƟon Americas Gold & Silver is a growing precious metals and an mony mining company with mul ple assets in North America.
