Customer terms

These terms apply when you use Eve's Gold Miners, create an account, start a trial or buy a subscription. EGM is an independent research tool, not personal financial advice.
1. The service
Eve's Gold Miners ("EGM", "we", "us") provides research, screening, monitoring and related information about precious-metals mining companies. Contact us at eve@evesgoldminers.com.
EGM is not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, execution platform, or provider of personal legal, tax or accounting advice. You remain responsible for your decisions and should verify material information against original company and regulatory sources.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. You must provide accurate information, protect your login details, use EGM lawfully and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Free trial
The current trial is 14 days and does not require a payment card. It does not automatically charge you when it ends. Trial access ends unless you actively buy a subscription. We may change future trial offers without changing an existing customer's agreed paid period.
4. Paid subscriptions
The price, currency, taxes, billing interval, trial or discount shown at Stripe Checkout control your purchase. A paid subscription renews automatically at the interval shown until cancelled. You authorise Stripe to charge the payment method you provide.
5. Cancellation and renewal
You may cancel before the next renewal through the Stripe customer portal available from EGM's billing page, or by emailing support. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally leaves access active until the end of the paid period.
We will make online cancellation reasonably straightforward. Nothing here limits any additional cancellation or renewal rights that apply by law.
6. Cooling-off rights
If consumer law gives you a cooling-off right, you may exercise it by sending a clear cancellation request to eve@evesgoldminers.com. In the UK, many distance contracts for services or digital content have a 14-day cancellation period. The legal treatment of access already supplied can depend on the type of service and any express request or acknowledgement made at purchase.
We will not treat a statutory right as waived unless the law permits that outcome and the required clear consent and acknowledgement were obtained.
7. Refunds
Outside any statutory cancellation right, paid charges are generally non-refundable after a billing period starts because customers can evaluate EGM through a no-card trial. We will nevertheless correct billing errors and may provide a refund or credit where the service was not supplied substantially as described or where fairness or applicable law requires it.
8. Acceptable use
Your subscription is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use EGM for your own personal or internal business research. You must not share access, resell or systematically redistribute paid content, bulk-extract data outside an authorised API, evade access controls, misuse API keys, interfere with the service, or use it unlawfully.
9. Research, sources and availability
Mining data can be delayed, incomplete, inconsistent or corrected after publication. EGM aims to show missing information rather than invent it, but does not guarantee that every figure is complete, current or error-free. Features may change and occasional outages may occur.
10. Intellectual property and third parties
EGM and its licensors retain rights in the software, design, database structure and original research presentation. Company filings, linked articles, videos, market data and other third-party material remain subject to their owners' rights and terms.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, fraud, abuse, unlawful use, a security threat, provider requirement or legal obligation. We will act proportionately where reasonably possible.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, EGM is provided on an "as available" basis; we are not responsible for investment or trading decisions, indirect or consequential loss, or loss caused by relying on incomplete third-party information. Where the law permits a financial cap, our total liability relating to a paid subscription is limited to the amount paid for the subscription period giving rise to the claim.
13. Privacy and changes
Our privacy policy explains how personal information is handled. We may update these terms for future use. We will give appropriate notice if a material change affects an existing paid subscription.
